Awareness

"To be aware is to be as the sail catching the wind which carries the vessel forward."

Awareness can save us all a lot of unnecessary work and woe. When we are
preoccupied with a personal agenda, even one as seemingly benign as "being
liked," we obfuscate the truth of what is happening now. Life is NOT, as some
say, a blank canvas upon which we paint our respective masterpieces or
disasters. Rather, it is more similar to "paint by the numbers."

There is a plan in place far beyond the scope and conception of mere human
comprehension. We have choices as to HOW it will be put into action, but it will
be made manifest. Have no doubt about this. Mistakes and evil have no
bearing on the final outcome. Love always prevails.

Being aware must begin, must it not, with what we should be aware of in the
first place? (If you need a little reminder, please read "purpose" or cycle 10 of
Gaan Som Quam.) Lacking awareness is not only being adrift and endlessly
lost at sea; you're without worthy destination, rowing your boat ceaselessly
without getting anywhere.

To make awareness a constant you must KNOW who you are, and further you
must ACCEPT your divine nature! Any religion espousing "faith" without
knowing belittles both YOU and GOD. Being aware is to span multiple
dimensions that exist right now, where you are, and hence live the complex,
rich, and full life that is yours by birthright -- but not without effort.

Finally, let us consider fish swimming in the ocean: Upon the surface there is
you in your boat, the fish unaware of this dimension above them, yet you both
co-exist side by side at the same time. Our capacity for understanding is
greater than fish, but only if we use it. The more we apply this innate ability the
better we'll recognize what is so - and more crucially - what is important.
