Strength
Cycle 4, March 26 - April 22

"The river does not need your help to flow."

"Strength comes from love, domination from
fear."

Strength: Its source is the love of God; and its
power is the endowment of that love.

Strength can be whispered or shouted, displayed
prominently, or held quietly in noble silence. It
needs not prove itself, but moves evenly and
swiftly when confronted by any challenge.

It is kind, and is wisdom's greatest ally: all can be
known, but have we the strength to stand behind
what is revealed to us, and through us?

It fears no reprisal, nor being wrong; it gives
freely and joyfully; it is, in the end, safety that is
the birthright of a child of God.

But as we must build our muscles to grow strong;
we must also earn the right to our spiritual
strength.

The more we have of it, the greater both we, and
our contribution, becomes.
